Andre Curtis Andrews Sr., 48, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 8:01 p.m. on May 13, 2026 in the 500 block of Stonedale Drive on a Riley County District Court warrant for seven counts of violating the offender registration act, two counts of perjury and one count of aggravated violation of the offender registration act. Andrews was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Shane Alan Amaro, 42, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 6:23 p.m. on May 13 in the 700 block of Colorado Street on Geary County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Amaro was issued a total bond of $20,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
