Officers responded to a report of an injury accident at approximately 12:26 p.m. on May 17, 2026 in the 400 block of Zeandale Road. Upon arrival, officers found a 2022 Toyota Venza, driven by Susan Adamchak, 72, of Manhattan, had crashed into a 2019 Yamaha Bolt motorcycle, ridden by Thaddues Thore, 21, of Manhattan. Thore was transported to Via Christi Hospital for a serious leg injury.
Officers filed a report for criminal threat and aggravated assault at approximately 12:20 a.m. on May 17 in the 1100 block of Bluemont Avenue. A 17-year-old male and a 17-year-old female were listed as the victims when it was reported unknown 22-year-old and a 20-year-old suspects pointed a gun at the victims. Cristoval Ramiro Gutierrez, 20, of Ellsworth, was arrested at approximately 12:53 a.m. for criminal threat and aggravated assault. Gutierrez was issued a total bond of $5,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail. Austin Chey Strode, 22, of Ellsworth, was arrested at 12:50 a.m. for criminal threat and aggravated assault. Strode was issued a total bond of $5,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
Officers responded to a report of an injury accident at approximately 12:03 p.m. on May 16 near 5th Street and Fort Riley Blvd. Upon arrival, officers found a 2011 Chevy Traverse, driven by Ashley Nichole Anderson, 32, of Ogden, had rear ended a 2012 Ford F-150, driven by Rachel Porter, 42, of Manhattan. Passenger Jerry Porter, 41, of Manhattan, was transported to Via Christi Hospital for his injuries. Anderson was issued a citation for following too closely.
Jon Thomas Harold, 41, of Hope, was arrested at approximately 8:24 p.m. on May 15 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road for criminal threat. This arrest stems from an original report filed in February 2026. Harold was issued a total bond of $5,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
Nicolus Allen Weiss, 34, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 1:55 p.m. on May 15 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on a Riley County District Court warrant for criminal threat, harass by telecom device, criminal damage to property, battery, and domestic battery. Weiss was issued a total bond of $8,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
