Officers filed a report of criminal damage to property at approximately 4:02 p.m. on May 27, 2026 in the 700 block of E. Poyntz Avenue. Hutton Corp was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect drove through a freshly poured concrete parking lot. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $15,000. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward up to $1,000.

Officers filed a report of four counts of stalking, two counts of harass by telecom device, and two counts of criminal trespass at approximately 8:14 a.m. on May 26 in Manhattan. A 30-year-old woman was listed as the victim and a known 37-year-old man is listed as the suspect. Nicholas Llewellen Hawes, 37, of St. George, was arrested at approximately 1:45 p.m. on May 27 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on four counts of stalking, two counts of harass by telecom device, and two counts of criminal trespass. Hawes was issued a total bond of $30,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report of four counts of aggravated endangering of a child at approximately 11:26 a.m. on May 27 in the 100 block of Bluemont Avenue. Listed victims include a 4-year-old female, a 5-year-old male, a 2-year-old female and an 11-month-old male when it was reported the four children were left unattended in a hot vehicle for an extended period of time. Regobert Yuh Manigha, 36, of Fort Riley, was arrested at approximately 12:35 p.m. on four counts of aggravated endangering of a child. Manigha was transferred to the Pottawatomie County Jail, pending a judicial review of the case.
