“Be the difference.”
That was the topic Geary County Schools USD 475’s superintendent, Reginald Eggleston, spoke from during the K-State College of Education commencement ceremony on Saturday in Bramlage Coliseum.
He reassured the students that artificial intelligence cannot do their jobs.
“The history books will capture this one fact, and that is teachers make the difference,” Eggleston said. “The education profession has changed a great deal over the past two decades with federal and state mandates, union negotiations and societal needs, and yet, one thing remains clear — teachers make the difference.”
