The Riley County Police Department is investigating a theft reported Monday afternoon involving a vehicle that was allegedly taken and not returned.
Officers filed a report of theft at approximately 12:23 p.m. June 8 in the 2000 block of Casement Road.
A 33-year-old woman was listed as the victim after it was reported a known 35-year-old man took her 2026 Hyundai Elantra and failed to return it.
The total estimated loss associated with the case is $25,000.
In a separate incident, officers filed a report at approximately 8:50 p.m. June 8, 2026. A 42-year-old woman was listed as the victim after it was reported a known 35-year-old man damaged her GMC Acadia.
The total estimated loss associated with the case is $1,000.
