Officers filed a report for aggravated burglary, violation of a protection order; condition of pre-trial orders, violation of a protection order; stalking/sexual assault/human trafficking and possession of marijuana at approximately 5:24 p.m. on May 31, 2026 in Manhattan. A 33-year-old woman was listed as the victim. A known 33-year-old man was listed as the suspect. DeVanta DeShaun Walker, 33, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 5:44 p.m. for aggravated burglary, violation of a protection order; condition of pre-trial orders, violation of a protection order; stalking/sexual assault/human trafficking and possession of marijuana. Walker was issued a total bond of $50,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report for aggravated assault and criminal damage to property at approximately 5:36 p.m. on May 30 in Manhattan. A 23-year-old woman was listed as the victim. A known 23-year-old man was listed as the suspect. Tylor Blake Blevins, 23, of Manhattan, was arrested at 6:53 p.m. for aggravated assault and criminal damage to property. Blevins was issued a total bond of $7,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Xavier Manuel Pizarro Rodriguez, 17, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 8:50 p.m. on May 29 in the 1100 block of Moro Street on a Riley County District Court warrant for aggravated robbery, battery and aggravated assault. This arrest stems from a report originally filed in April 2026. Pizzaro Rodriguez was issued no bond and is not confined at the Riley County Jail.

Officers filed a report for aggravated domestic battery, domestic battery and criminal restraint at approximately 3:36 p.m. on May 29 in Manhattan. A 47-year-old woman was listed as the victim and a known 27-year-old woman was listed as the suspect. Whitney Terrell Hamilton, 27, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 3:45 p.m. for aggravated domestic battery, domestic battery and criminal restraint. Hamilton was issued a total bond of $14,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Joshua James Hamilton, 43, of Herrington, was arrested at approximately 2:10 p.m. on May 29 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. This arrest stems from original charges of theft/criminal trespass. Hamilton was issued a total bond of $5,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.

Officers responded to a report of an injury accident at approximately 10:01 a.m. on May 29 near N. Juliette Avenue and Humboldt Street. Upon arrival, officers found 2018 Chevy Equinox, driven by Rhonda Higginbotham, 73, of Council Grove, had struck a 2026 Nissan Versa, driven by Kipp Torres, 17, of Manhattan. Torres was transported to Via Christi Hospital for injuries. Higginbotham was issued a citation for failure to yield at a stop sign and Torres was issued a citation for driving without a license.

Officers filed a report for aggravated assault at approximately 8:27 a.m. on May 29 in the 500 block of Colorado Street. A 70-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported a known 24-year-old female suspect charged at the victim with a knife.
