??????????

A Manhattan man already being held in the Riley County Jail is facing 20 new felony charges involving alleged sex crimes against a child, according to the Riley County Police Department.

Police said officers filed a report on July 10 following an ongoing investigation alleging rape and aggravated indecent liberties with a child. Due to the nature of the investigation, no victim information has been released.

Kevin Kendre Brown, 43, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, at the Riley County Jail on 10 counts of rape and 10 counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.

Brown has been confined in the Riley County Jail since November 2025 on unrelated charges. He was issued a total bond of $1 million and remains in custody.

The investigation remains ongoing.
