Former Manhattan chiropractor and convicted sex crimes felon Clark Petersen is no longer licensed in Kansas after the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts voted unanimously to revoke his license on Monday.
Following a Riley County District Court trial in August, Petersen, 66 was convicted 51 counts of sex crimes against former chiropractic patients. He was sentenced in October to serve 32 years in prison under custody of the Kansas Department of Corrections.
The Kansas State Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) conducted a formal hearing on April 10. The board’s disciplinary panel said it filed a petition to revoke Petersen’s license almost in September, almost 12 days after his conviction.
