A Manhattan woman was injured Thursday evening in a two-vehicle crash on North Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, according to the RCPD.
Officers responded to the crash at approximately 5:33 p.m. July 9 in the 400 block of N. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
Police said a Ford van driven by William Joseph Eichem, 46, of Manhattan, collided with a Subaru Forester driven by Teressa Chandler, 69, of Manhattan. Two additional passengers were in the Subaru at the time of the crash.
Chandler was transported to Via Christi Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Following the investigation, Eichem was arrested on charges of driving while suspended and driving while a habitual violator. He was issued a total bond of $3,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
