A Herington man was injured Tuesday afternoon after a truck overturned on a highway ramp in Riley County, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 3:20 p.m. at the intersection of K-18 and Pillsbury Drive.
Troopers said a 2020 Western Star truck was traveling east on K-18 when the driver turned left onto the entrance ramp for southbound K-177. The truck overturned onto its passenger side.
The driver, 43-year-old Travis Dean Matthews of Herington, suffered suspected minor injuries and was transported to Via Christi Hospital. He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the highway patrol.
