When Kansas State men’s basketball coach Casey Alexander landed his first transfer of the offseason in April, Brock Vice’s résumé didn’t exactly jump off the page.
The 6-foot-10 forward had appeared in just 35 Division I games across three schools, averaging 1.9 points in limited minutes at Creighton, North Texas and, most recently, Murray State. It wasn’t the type of addition that generated much excitement among a fan base eager to see Alexander rebuild the Wildcats’ roster.
