The city of Manhattan is hiring Amy Lange as its new chief financial officer, a city representative said Sunday. Lange had served as Concordia’s city manager since January 2018.
The city of Concordia announced Friday that Lange submitted her resignation to pursue a new professional opportunity.
According to Manhattan’s job listing for the new position, the chief financial officer reports to the city manager while leading a team responsible for budgeting, accounting, investment management, financial reporting, debt management and revenue collection.
City officials plan to announce Lange’s hiring on Monday.
