A Manhattan man was arrested Wednesday night on multiple municipal court warrants and now faces additional charges after allegedly interfering with officers during his arrest.
Kurtis Andrew Foster, 33, of Manhattan, was arrested just before 11 p.m. July 15 in the 100 block of Blue Earth Plaza.
Foster was wanted on eight Manhattan Municipal Court warrants for probation violations and two additional warrants for theft of property or services and criminal trespass. The original probation violation cases stemmed from charges that included four counts of criminal trespass, two counts of resisting arrest and one count each of theft and unlawful burning within the city.
During the arrest, officers filed a report charging Foster with two counts of interference with a law enforcement officer.
Foster was issued a total bond of $6,500 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail.
