Officers filed a report of aggravated assault and disorderly conduct at approximately 6:09 p.m. on July 12, 2026 in the 300 block of Riley Avenue in Ogden. A 48-year-old man and a 25-year-old man were listed as suspects and victims when it was reported the two engaged in an argument.
Officers responded to a report of an injury accident at approximately 12:38 p.m. on July 11 near Browning Avenue and Lawrence Road. Upon arrival, officers found a 2001 Suzuki motorcycle, ridden by Cole Frederick Henry, 19, of Manhattan, was involved in a one-vehicle accident. Henry was transported to Via Christi Hospital for injuries.
Officers filed a report for aggravated battery at approximately 1:50 a.m. on July 11 in the 1200 block of Moro Street. A 25-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown male suspect battered him in an alley during an altercation. Howard Leavell Amos, 22, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 1:40 p.m. on July 10 in the 100 block of Courthouse Plaza on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. This arrest stems from an original charge of criminal restraint, criminal damage to property and domestic battery. Amos was issued no bond for this arrest. Officers also filed a report of violating a Riley County District Court protection order at approximately 3:01 p.m. on July 10. Amos was arrested for violating the protection order at approximately 3:39 p.m. in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road and issued a total bond of $2,000. Amos remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
