Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property at approximately 7:57 p.m. on July 30, 2026 in Manhattan. A 34-year-old woman was listed as the victim. A known 32-year-old man was listed as the suspect. Jacob Bernard Underwood, 32, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 8:59 p.m. for criminal damage to property. Underwood was issued a total bond of $5,000 is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
