ennifer Arlene Vandermark, 58, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 11:22 p.m. on July 6. 2026 in the 400 block of Fort Riley Blvd. on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. This arrest stems from original charges of violating protection orders. Officers also filed a report and arrested Vandermark for possession of opiate/opium/narcotic or certain stimulant and use/possess with intent to use drug paraphernalia into the human body. Vandermark was issued a total bond of $8,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Williams was issued a total bond of $50,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Officers filed a report of theft of property or services at approximately 1:01 p.m. on July 6 in Manhattan. A 23-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it was reported unknown suspects called the victim identifying themselves as local law enforcement and demanded money for a warrant for missing jury duty. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $5,800.
