Officers filed a report for aggravated domestic battery, criminal damage to property, criminal restraint, and domestic battery at approximately 9:05 p.m. on July 8, 2026 in Manhattan. A 36-year-old woman was listed as the victim. A known 35-year-old man was listed as the suspect. Yances Baldizon, 35, of Gretna (La.), was arrested at approximately 9:55 p.m. for aggravated domestic battery, criminal damage to property, criminal restraint, and domestic battery. Baldizon was issued a total bond of $11,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
