After a brief legal review, the Riley County Commission on Thursday approved BHS Construction’s bid to remodel a county building for information technology and geographic information systems (IT/GIS) offices.
Commissioners asked for a review after Schultz Construction of Manhattan — the apparent low bidder — didn’t include a required contractors’ qualification statement. BHS of Manhattan was the only bidder of three to provide the statement.
