Kohlmeier wins Republican bid for Kansas House Seat

Stacy Kohlmeier will be the Republican candidate for the Kansas House of Representatives 67th District seat, according to unofficial final primary election results in Riley County.

As of Tuesday evening, Kohlmeier received 1,707 votes in the 67th District race while her fellow Republican opponent, Kaleb James, received 963 votes.

The unofficial results were made available on the county’s election results page just after 9 p.m.

A total of 12,174 votes were cast in Riley County, including 45.17% of registered Democratic voters and 35.94% of registered Republican voters. Only 11.87% of registered nonpartisan voters participated in Tuesday’s primary election.
