A Manhattan man was arrested Thursday afternoon after police investigated a case involving multiple felony allegations.
According to the Riley County Police Department, officers began investigating around 10:35 a.m. after receiving a report of aggravated assault, theft, criminal use of a financial card, aggravated kidnapping and cruelty to animals.
Kansas State Bank and a 22-year-old woman were listed as victims.
Kieshawn Valorean Nolan, 24, of Manhattan, was arrested around 1:25 p.m. in the 600 block of Poyntz Avenue on suspicion of aggravated assault and cruelty to animals.
Nolan was booked into the Riley County Law Enforcement Center on a total bond of $7,000 and remained confined at the time of the report.
