Officers filed a report for driving while suspended, possession of paraphernalia, and distribution of opiate/opium/narcotic/certain stimulant at approximately 1:51 a.m. on Aug. 9, 2026 in the 3500 block of Tuttle Creek Blvd. Jonathan Paul White, 35, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 1:59 a.m. for driving while suspended, possession of paraphernalia, and distribution of opiate/opium/narcotic/certain stimulant. White was issued a total bond of $15,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Adrian Jerome Coffee, 32, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 5:58 p.m. on Aug. 8 in the 2500 block of Farm Bureau Road on a pair of Johnson County District Court warrants for failure to appear. This arrest stems from original charges of robbery, harassment by phone, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Coffee was issued a total bond of $40,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
Jaeleon Malachi J Efford, 19, of Junction City, was arrested at approximately 11:19 p.m. on Aug. 7 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. This arrest stems from an original charge of aggravated battery. Efford was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Officers responded to a report of an injury accident at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Aug. 7 in the 6300 block of Fort Riley Blvd. Upon arrival, officers found a 2023 GMC Sierra, driven by Andrew Biery, 40, of Manhattan, had struck a 2023 Chrysler Voyager, driven by Andrea Carter, 47, of Manhattan. Rosaline Sheppard, 51, was a passenger in the Voyager. Carter and Sheppard were transported to Via Christi Hospital for injuries. Carter was issued a citation for improper driving on a laned roadway.
