Douglas Lee Carson, 43, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 11:48 p.m. on Aug. 18, 2026 in the 1300 block of Anderson Avenue on a pair of Riley County District Court warrants for failure to appear. This arrest stems from original charges that include burglary, residential burglary and theft. Carson was issued a total bond of $22,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Alexxander Oren Juel Wilson, 21, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 2:40 p.m. on Aug. 18 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on a Geary County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Wilson was issued a total bond of $10,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.

Officers filed a report for two counts of battery of a law enforcement officer, one count of criminal damage to property and one count of disorderly conduct at approximately 11:07 a.m. on Aug. 18 in the 2100 block of Prairie Glen Place. A 43-year-old man, a 31-year-old man and the Riley Country Police Department were listed as victims. A 19-year-old woman was listed as the suspect. Elizabeth Lynn Milam, 19, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 11:17 a.m. on two counts of battery of a law enforcement officer, one count of criminal damage to property and one count of disorderly conduct. Milam was issued a total bond of $7,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report for theft of property or services at approximately 10:28 a.m. on Aug. 18 in the 400 block of S. 5th Street. An 81-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported his 2011 Ford Expedition was stolen from an auto repair business by an unknown suspect. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $3,765.
