Officers filed a report for aggravated battery and aggravated intimidation of a witness/victim at approximately 8:28 p.m. on Aug. 30, 2026 in Manhattan. A 46-year-old man was listed as the victim. A 40-year-old man, known to the victim, was listed as the suspect. Alberto Antionio Reyes, 40, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 9:30 p.m. for aggravated battery and aggravated intimidation of a witness/victim. Antonio Reyes was issued a total bond of $10,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report for rape at approximately 5:48 p.m. on Aug. 30 in Manhattan. An 18-year-old woman was listed as the victim. A 21-year-old man, known to the victim, was listed as the suspect. Due to the nature of this crime, no further information will be released.

Officers filed a report for domestic battery and battery of a law enforcement officer; physical contact with a corrections/court services officer on duty at approximately 1:22 a.m. on Aug. 30 in the 1200 block of Moro Street. Two 21-year-old women were listed as victims. A 39-year-old man was listed as the suspect. Terrence Ross Berry, 39, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 1:22 a.m. for domestic battery and battery of a law enforcement officer; physical contact with a corrections/court services officer on duty. Berry was issued a total bond of $10,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report for theft of property or services at approximately 12:29 p.m. on Aug. 29 in the 600 block of S. Seth Child Road. Home Depot was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown individual stole tools and other items on multiple occasions. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $2,495.

Officers responded to a report of an injury accident at approximately 12:59 a.m. on Aug. 29 in the 17000 block of Green-Randolph Road. Upon arrival, officers found a 2013 Dodge Ram 2500, driven by Elijah Burton, 21, of Clay Center, was involved in a single-vehicle accident when he went off the road and damaged an electrical pole and a concrete wall of a ditch. Burton was transported to Clay Center Hospital for his injuries.

Officers filed a report for aggravated battery at approximately 1:24 a.m. on Aug. 28 in the 700 block of 12th Street. A 21-year-old man was listed as the victim. A 22-year-old man, known the victim, was listed as the suspect. Henry David Stadler, 22, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 7:13 p.m. for aggravated battery in the 800 block of Bluemont Avenue. Stadler was issued a total bond of $5,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.

Randall Clarke Reitz, 58 of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 6:24 p.m. on Aug. 28 for assault, mistreatment of dependent adult/elder person and criminal threat in Manhattan. This arrest stems from a report originally filed in June 2026. Reitz was issued a total bond of $20,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.

Sarah Ann Gutierrez, 42, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 1:22 p.m. on Aug. 28 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Road on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. This arrest stems from original charges of domestic battery, driving under the influence, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. Gutierrez was issued a total bond of $10,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
