An 18-year-old Onaga woman was killed and an Ogden man seriously injured Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash north of St. Marys.

The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office said the crash was reported at about 6:42 a.m. near Kansas Highway 63 and Doyle Creek Road. A 2011 Chevrolet Impala was traveling northbound when it appeared to cross the centerline for unknown reasons and struck a southbound 2003 Honda Civic.

The Impala driver, 23-year-old Bryce Ashlock of Ogden, was taken by ambulance to Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka with serious injuries.

The Honda driver, 18-year-old Alyssa Mullins of Onaga, was flown by medical helicopter to Stormont Vail with serious injuries. She was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
