Kansas State football faces its first real test of the season on Saturday when Washington State makes the long trip from the Palouse for the two programs’ first-ever meeting.
Washington State is coming off an emotional season-opening loss to in-state rival Washington on Sunday in Seattle. The Cougars fell to the Huskies 24-10 in a game in which they were shut out until the fourth quarter.
