Kansas State athletics director Gene Taylor will be honored at the National Football Foundation (NFF) and College Hall of Fame Awards Dinner on Dec. 8, with the John L. Toner Award, the organization has announced.

The award, first presented in 1997, honors athletics directors who have demonstrated superior administrative abilities and outstanding dedication to college athletics and particularly college football. It is named after its first recipient, the late John L. Toner, former athletics director and football coach at the University of Connecticut and NCAA President.
