RCPD Report: 9/16/26

Officers filed a report for theft by deception at approximately 9:36 a.m. on Sept. 15 in the 700 block of Allen Rd, Manhattan. A 40-year-old man reported an unknown suspect scammed him. The estimated total loss for this case is approximately $2,300.

Officers filed a report for theft and forgery at approximately 12:06 p.m. on Sept. 15 in the 3000 block of Dickens Ave. A 79-year-old man reported an unknown suspect made charges to his bank account. The estimated total loss for this case is approximately $5,901.

Officers filed a report for burglary at approximately 7:59 p.m. on Sept. 15 in the 200 block of Plymate Ln. A 51-year-old man reported a storage unit was entered and items were stolen by an unknown suspect. The estimated total loss of this case is approximately $2,000.

Jacque King, 23, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 4:06 p.m. on Sept. 15 at the Riley County Police Department for a probation violation warrant. King was issued no bond and remains confined at the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Joel Vance Jr., 44, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 4:18 p.m. on Sept. 15 in the 2200 block of Tuttle Creek Blvd. for multiple possession and distribution related charges and driving while suspended. Vance Jr. was issued a total bond of $30,000 and remains confined at the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
