Incumbent Riley County Commissioner John Ford announced he will not run for the position again, no matter what the outcome of the election is.
Ford announced the news and spoke more about the election Tuesday on Within Reason with Mike Matson.
Ford was elected in 2018 and has held the seat since. He said he knew the commission wasn’t a lifetime office and at some point it would be time to give it up.
