MHS football looks to reclaim the Silver Trophy at Junction City

It’s that time of the season. Disregard the numbers, forget what you think you know about either squad, because it’s time for Manhattan High football to meet rival Junction City with the Silver Trophy on the line.

“It’s always a big game,” Manhattan coach Joe Schartz said. “Throw the records out; they don’t mean anything. It doesn’t really matter what has happened in the first four weeks; it’s just all about what happens on Friday night, and it’s going to take a great effort from our team to get the victory.”
