Shane Alan Amaro, 42, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 11:25 p.m. on Sept. 30, 2026 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on two Manhattan Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear. This arrest stems from original charges of driving while suspended/revoked. Amaro was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Kelly Kay Carlson, 24, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 2:15 p.m. on Sept. 30 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. This arrest stems from original charges of distribution of narcotics and distribution of a controlled substance. Carlson was issued a total bond of $20,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
