For the second year in a row and fourth since 2021, Wamego girls’ golf walked away with a state title, shooting a two-day team score of 653 (327-326) at Turkey Creek Golf Course in McPherson.
The meet was originally scheduled to be played at Emporia Municipal, but was moved to McPherson to avoid poor grounds conditions.
