NORTON — Foggy skies, damp conditions, and slippery natural grass made for a difficult night of football in Norton.
Both teams had to navigate the elements, but No. 9 Council Grove found enough footing when it mattered most, surviving a furious comeback for a 48-40 victory over the No. 8 Bluejays in the first round of the Class 2A playoffs.
