A 37-year-old Manhattan man was arrested Tuesday on allegations of perjury and violating the Kansas Offender Registration Act.
According to the RCPD, Corneal Arnez Johnson was arrested just before noon in the 100 block of Courthouse Plaza. The arrest stems from a report originally filed in September 2026.
Kansas Offender Registry records show Johnson is a registered sex offender following an April 2024 conviction for sexual exploitation of a child involving possession of media depicting a minor under 18. The registry lists two offenses from May 2023.
Johnson was issued a total bond of $20,000 and remained confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of the report.
