On September 19, officers arrested Nevaeh Noel Collier, 24, of Manhattan, for domestic battery involving rude physical contact with a family or dating partner. Collier was booked into the Riley County Jail on a $2,000 bond. That same day, officers arrested Willison David Shimp, 27, of Manhattan, on a probation violation warrant. He was issued a $750 bond. Campbell, was retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel who served 29 years in the military. Upon retirement, he was adjutant at Washburn University and then later appointed as the Magistrate of the 2nd Judicial District in 2015. Five years later the Kansas Supreme Court appointed him to serve on its Language Access Committee. By Emma Laura Among the items on a sweeping new master plan for K-State is making Anderson Hall the “front porch” of campus — in part by adding a front porch. The Kansas Board of Regents on Wednesday unanimously approved K-State’s Campus Master Plan for the next five years. That plan includes restoring Anderson Hall to its former glory, remodeling Ahearn as an event venue, turning part of Kedzie into an enrollment center and razing Shellenberger Hall to build a research building.
