Riley County Police filed a report for aggravated burglary in the 3300 block of Kensington Court in Manhattan Saturday morning at approximately 8:15 AM. Police found Suzanne Baker had become the victim of this crime when items were removed from her home. Officers arrested Daniel Dimond, 39, of Manhattan for the offense of burglary and criminal damage to property. Dimond’s bond was set at $10,000. 180 local girl scouts traveled to 14 different countries on Saturday morning. Well….at least with their imaginations. World Thinking Day was celebrated by area girl scouts at St. Thomas More Catholic Church here in Manhattan, although the official holiday is on February 22nd. The day is designed to provide girls with the chance to think and learn about scouts in other countries. Each troop picked a different country to research and present on.
