The department says that the scam involves someone posing as a K-State student stuck in a foreign country, in need of money. The scammer has used an altered student identification card in an attempt to validate his or her story. Campus police encourage students and community members to be cautious when establishing online relationships, and to use common sense when being asked to give or accept money from unknown or suspicious persons.…
Officers with the Riley County Police Department served an arrest warrant for extradition on Monday, while at the Riley County Police Department. Trevor Clements, 28, of Junction City, was arrested on this warrant originating in Payne County, Oklahoma. At the time of this report Clements remained confined at the Riley County Jail. ### Police are investigating a theft that occurred in the 1300 block of Laramie Street, in Manhattan between July 16th and July 20th. KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP)– Travis Ishikawa had three extra-base hits and drove in four runs as the Pittsburgh Pirates outslugged the Kansas City Royals 10-7 Monday night.
