Head coach Jeff Mittie announced the news Monday after the Wildcats’ season-opening victory over Green Bay, saying the decision was the result of conversations the two have had in recent weeks. Glenn, a senior guard, has started 93 games in her K-State career, including 39 straight before Monday. She didn’t suit up for the game against the Phoenix but was on the bench with her team. Riley County Police Officers arrested a pair of individuals on a slew of charges Sunday afternoon at Menard’s. Just before 3 p.m., RCPD arrested Ginger Moore, 58, of Wamego, and Peter Henry, 35, of Salina. Moore was arrested for theft, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of opiate, and distributing a certain stimulate. Henry was arrested for theft, criminal damage to property, criminal possession of a weapon by felon, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of opiate, and distributing a certain stimulate. Officials estimated more than 12,000 voters in Riley County had cast ballots as advance voting closed on Monday. Riley County clerk Rich Vargo, reporting during the county commission meeting Monday morning, said advance voting closed at noon Monday ahead of Election Day on Tuesday. He said as of Saturday, 11,655 people had participated in the election process.
