KMAN has received additional details about the shooting incident that occurred during the early morning hours of Tuesday in Ogden, and the individual has died from his injuries. Riley County Police officers were dispatched to an emergent call for service regarding a shooting with injury.  This incident was ultimately determined to have taken place on Skyway Drive near the intersection of East Riley Avenue just outside of Ogden. The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a burglary to a residence near Savannah Road and Havensville Road in rural Havensville on March 5th.  A press release was finally issued Tuesday afternoon regarding this incident. The property owner reported that sometime between February 1st and March 5th, an unknown person or persons forcibly entered a home and stole an antique stove.  The stove has “Royal Charter Oak” printed in the center, has four burners, a hood on the back, and is wood burning.  It is blue in color with black legs and chrome trim. Manhattan High pole vaulter Alex Stenberg has signed a letter of intent to continue her track career at Bendictine College. Stenberg chose Benedictine over a handful of other Catholic colleges. She explains why it was Benedictine in the end. She is working her way back from a torn ACL suffered at the end of last track season. The first meet of the Manhattan High track season is March 26th at the Topeka West Invitational.
