Leu Lowrey, Public Works Director, talked about snow removal for the county along with the possibility of work moving forward on Belvue Bridge. Dave Schoneweis was recognized for his 17 years of service on the county park board during Monday’s Riley County Commission meeting. A Manhattan man who was convicted in a home invasion case Saturday immediately faced new charges later that day. Riley County Police released more details Monday regarding the arrest of Levertis Horne, 22, for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of unidentified drugs.. This arrest occurred Saturday at 5:30 PM, about six hours after he was convicted of several charges in another case. Police say items of evidentiary value were located at a residence inhabited by Horne during a police investigation for illegal drugs in the Manhattan and Riley County area. The Junction City Police Department is requesting assistance in locating a Junction City resident. The department released information about the missing woman late Monday morning. Amanda Clemons (24) was last observed leaving the Budget Host Hotel, located at 820 South Washington Street in Junction City, at 11:30 Friday evening. It was reported that she was getting into a silver vehicle occupied by two black males and two other black females. Foster hit five three-pointers, and did not miss any of his eight attempts inside the arc. He added three rebounds and three assists in the Cats’ only game of the week.
