Wamego boys’ golf’s stranglehold on Class 4A continued on Wednesday as the Red Raiders came away with their third straight state championship. By Emma Loura Manhattan-Ogden school district officials said they are close to a cost-sharing agreement with the Riley County Police Department for school resource officers. At last week’s school board meeting, assistant superintendent Nathan Downs said after multiple meetings and negotiations, the RCPD is offering the district a more affordable price for officers, though he said he didn’t yet have specific numbers to share. (K-State Athletics) – The Kansas State baseball team received an at-large bid to the 2025 NCAA Division I Baseball Championship on Monday, as the Wildcats were selected as the No. 3 seed at the Austin Regional.
