(Kansas State Athletics) – Kansas State senior Ty Zentner is one of 10 punters in the nation to be named a semifinalist for the 2022 Ray Guy Award, the Augusta Sports Council announced Monday. Zentner is the first Wildcat to be named a semifinalist for the college punter of the year since Tim Reyer in 2007. He made the cut among 81 nominated candidates throughout the season. Officers filed three reports for arson on November 19, 2022. Bushes near the intersection of N. 11th and Bertrand Streets and bushes and roadside grass in the 1400 block of Sunnyslope Ln. were reported to be set on fire shortly before 11:00 p.m, and a tree was reported to be set on fire in the 1600 block of Sunnyslope Ln. around 11:15 p.m. by two men with gas lanterns. The Riley County Seniors’ Service Center was full of smiling, festive faces for their annual Thanksgiving dinner. Volunteers served up plates full of turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables, and pumpkin pie while the Center Singers sang some holiday tunes. RCSSC Director Liz Nelson had many thanks to give for everyone who showed up and made the day possible. She also shared some kind words to those who attended.
