Business leaders from across the region are convening Friday in Manhattan for the annual Flint Hills Regional Leaders Retreat. The retreat was for years held in Kansas City, but since the COVID-19 pandemic, has shifted to a single day event hosted at the Manhattan Conference Center. Allen works for a regional technical assistance center that works with school districts in Kansas, Colorado and Missouri.
