Officers filed a report for aggravated battery, aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, and felony criminal destruction of property in the 2400 block of Buttonwood Drive in Manhattan on March 11, 2024, around 6:55 PM. Officers listed a 39-year-old male and a 42-year-old male officer as the victims and a juvenile as the suspect. A Manhattan woman was arrested Thursday evening for attempting to strangle a female corrections officer. Tiffany Ryals was jailed on charges of aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer (LEO), battery on a LEO, and criminal destruction of property. Officers at the Riley County jail listed a 37 year old female RCPD corrections officer as the victim. Ryals remains confined in the Riley County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
