No injuries were reported following a house fire just east of K-State campus Sunday evening. The Manhattan Fire Department says crews were called out after 8 p.m. to 326 Vattier St. for a fire visible from the front of a home. Firefighters quickly searched the home and extinguished the fire. The occupants were displaced. The cause was determined to be accidental as the result of burning incense. Damage has been estimated at $50,000, including $30,000 to the structure and $20,000 to its contents. Click here for more local Manhattan news.

The Riley County Police Department reports the arrest of 15-year-old Noah Owen Wilson of Ogden, Kansas, on Saturday evening. Officers took Wilson into custody around 8:20 p.m. at the Dollar General located at 118 Riley Avenue. According to the arrest report, Wilson was booked on probable cause for theft of property or services valued at less than $1,500, a shoplifting charge under Kansas statute 21-5801(a)(1)(B4). He was not confined at the Riley County Jail following the arrest.
