Wooden Award presented by Wendy’s Women’s Preseason Top 30 Watch List. The list is comprised of 30 student-athletes who are the early front-runners for college basketball’s most prestigious honor. From K-State The Big 12 Conference and ABC/ESPN announced Monday that Kansas State’s November 16 home contest against West Virginia will kick at 2:30 p.m., and air on either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2. The TV designation will be made on Saturday. It will mark the seventh time this year that the Wildcats will play on the ESPN family of networks. From K-State Kansas State junior quarterback Skylar Thompson was honored with a pair of awards following the Wildcats’ 48-41 upset win over No. 5 Oklahoma on Saturday. Thompson is one of eight quarterbacks in the nation to be named a “Star of the Week” by the Manning Award, while he was named to the Davey O’Brien Award’s “Great 8” list.
