Reed heard his name called on the final day of the 2018 NFL Draft on Saturday as he was selected in the fifth round by the San Francisco 49ers, extending K-State’s Big 12-leading draft streak to 25 years. According to a release from K-State, Wildcat junior men’s golfer Jeremy Gandon took home the Wildcats’ first individual medalist honor in 67 years as he tied for the title at the 2018 Big 12 Championship at the par-70 Southern Hills Country Club on Wednesday. It was K-State’s first individual conference championship since Graham Hunt won the Big Seven Championship in 1951.
