Manhattan High wrestling took home a top 5 finish at the Newton Tournament of Champions this weekend. The Indians were led by Bubba Wilson who won the individual title at 160 pounds. Wilson is now 23-1 this year with his only loss coming to a nationally ranked opponent. He has now won tournaments in Newton, Grand Island, Nebraska and Dodge City this season. From K-State Athletics Kansas State head coach Chris Klieman announced Monday that Mike Tuiasosopo has been hired to coach the Wildcat defensive tackles for the 2019 season. The game against the Horned Frogs is one of seven home games for the Wildcats in 2019. K-State opens the season on August 31 against Nicholls State and hosts Bowling Green on September 7.
