Kansas State used a lockdown defensive effort against Oklahoma State on Wednesday night to secure a 59-48 win at Bramlage Coliseum. K-State has now won three straight Big 12 games, the longest regular season league winning streak for the Wildcats since the 2016-17 season. Hazelton comes to Manhattan after a successful two-year run as the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Wyoming. From K-State Athletics Kansas State freshman guard Christianna Carr continues to receive accolades for her play last week, as she was named the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) National Freshman of the Week on Tuesday. Carr is the first player in program history to earn the USBWA freshman of the week honor.
