From K-State Athletics Kansas State head coach Chris Klieman announced the first part of his inaugural signing class as the Wildcats unveiled the names of 15 student-athletes who utilized the early signing period and will join the program over the next several months. The Frankfort girls are off to a hot start to the season. After taking home a tournament title in Wabaunsee to start the season, the Wildcats knocked off Valley Heights 48-34 last week – led by Emilee Ebert and her incredible stat line. Ebert scored 14 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, dished out 6 assists and had 6 deflections on defense. Ebert is averaging 15 points per game this year after putting up 20 points per game last year. Wade hurt the foot in last Saturday’s win over Georgia State. Goth is K-State’s first Big 12 Player of the Week recipient since Brittany Chambers on March 4, 2013.
