From K-State Athletics Kansas State women’s soccer head coach Mike Dibbini has signed six student-athletes to National Letters of Intent during the November signing period. The six signees will join the Wildcat roster for the 2019 season. The six student-athletes that will compete for the program in its fourth season are: Kenzie Applegate (Coweta, Oklahoma), Jenna Brown (Claremore, Oklahoma), Cameron Illingworth (Santa Ana, California), Carly McConville (Newbury Park, California), Caylee Thornhill (Lenexa, Kansas) and Shae Turner (Kansas City, Missouri). The new additions to the K-State roster for the 2019-20 season are: forward Emma Chapman and guard Jada Thorpe. Manhattan High school stand out wrestler Clayton “Bubba” Wilson made it official this morning. Bubba signed his national letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic career at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Last year Bubba was the 152lb 6A state champion for the Indians and is the favorite to capture another state title his senior year. As a sophomore he was the state runner-up and was determined not to fall short last year.
