For the sixth time in program history, Kansas State women’s basketball hosted an opening round game of the Postseason WNIT in Bramlage Coliseum and for the sixth time the Wildcats advanced to the second round, as K-State defeated Saint Louis, 75-61, on Thursday night. Creighton catcher Michael Emodi hit a go-ahead three-run home run in the fourth inning as the Bluejays strung together 11 unanswered runs in a 13-3 defeat of Kansas State Tuesday night at Tointon Family Stadium. For the fourth straight season, Kansas State women’s basketball will make a postseason appearance as the Wildcats have accepted a bid to play in the 2018 Postseason WNIT and will host Saint Louis in the first round on Thursday.
